April 22: Earth Day, Good Friday, Jenna Rose

On this day in 1970, the first Earth Day is celebrated.

Happy Friday!

1. It's Good Friday, the day in which Christians commemorate Jesus Christ's crucifixion. It is not a federal holiday, however, so post offices and banks are open.

2. Today is also Earth Day. Are you doing something earth-friendly to celebrate? If you do, take some photos and send them to us and we'll feature them on the site.
