The six grade band led by Ms Collete Galante and the orchestra led by Ms Siobhan Hohf performed to a standing-room-only crowd. 

It was the first time that the four elementary schools that feed into West Hollow-- Paumanok, Chestnut Hill, Sunquam and Signal Hill--have performed together as one.

As  one mom, Shari Meehan, said, "They sound so good we'll have to start paying to go to their performances."

Several of the students are part of the Gemini Youth Orchestra and Long Island String Festival Association. This is a tremendous achievement since there are very few 6th graders that can perform at that level.
