Healthcare Webinar
The South Huntington Public Library is hositng a webinar at 1 p.m. to help people get basic information on the new health insurance marketplace. Enrollment for insurance will begin Oct. 1. The webinar will include an overview of the Affordable Care Act as well as a basic introduction to the marketplace, highlighting how it will work and who is eligible. Free; open to the public.
Making Mozzarella
Chef Lisa is leading a session on how to make fresh mozzarella.
The session is set for 1 p.m. at the Cold Spring Harbor Library.
Hall of Fame Nominations
The South Huntington school district is seeking nominatoins for next fall's Hall of Fame induction. nominees must: have graduated at least 10 years ago, have graduated from South Huntington or Walt Whitman High School, have attended high school in South Huntington for a minimum of 2 years, and be worthy of permanent recognition in any field or endeavor.
