Last Saturday the wrestlers from Hills East participated in the Smithtown East Tournament and came away with 10 medals. Hills East continues to make a strong showing against tough opponents.
Top medalists at the tournament were: Michael Morris, taking First Place at 195 lbs, Maleik Henry, Second Place at 170 lbs, and rounding out the rest of the spots were with Third Place finishes- Matt Haenel and Jack Scurti, Fourth Place- Mike Macchia, Chris Martinez, and Damon Aguilar, Fifth Place- Kris Krauss and Anthony Diasparra, and at Sixth Place Griffin Arcuri.
The T-Birds face Bay Shore tonight at Bay Shore. Their next home match is next Wednesday January 16th vs. Connetquot at 6pm. Please come out and support the team.
