Youth track and field summer sign ups begin June 15

The Northport Running Club (NRC) started a Youth Track and Field program in the spring season and is continuing the program for the summer season with sign ups beginning June 15. As Suffolk county is underserved with Youth Track Opportunities they have teamed up with USATF-LI. USATF-LI hascreated a youth outreach program to demonstrate how much fun track can be.

Summer 2014 registration begins June 15 and closes July 5 or when capacity is reached. Practice begins July 10. The initial cost of registration for a first-timer is $40 that gets each child a USATF-LI membership good through the end of the calendar year, a NRC T-shirt.
