#100 - 300 Long Island Bowling

There's something different going on every day of the week here.

This is the first installment in our series counting down the numerous programs, services, retailers and events happening in our community. Join us each week as we count down from #100 the many exciting happenings in the Dix Hills/Melville area, starting today with #100.

Event: Bowling, entertainment and casual dining, all under one roof!

Where: 300 Long Island Bowl, 895 Walt Whitman Road, Melville; 866-473-3161, sales office 631-271-0051.

What/When: 300 Long Island has something special going on every day of the week. Here are the highlights:

Mondays are "Bowl Your Brains Out" night. From 6-11 p.m. unlimited bowling, with shoe rental included, is only $10 on the main concourse or $15 on the Back 9.

Tuesday nights at 300, each game is just $2 during their "$2 Tuesdays" from 6-11 p.m.

Wednesday nights are "Ladies Night." The ladies can enjoy $1 bowling games, $1 shoe rentals and $5 menu items from 9-11:30 p.m.

Thursdays from 9-11 p.m. is "College Night." Present a valid college ID for $15 unlimited bowling with shoe rental included, $5 menu items and $1 off each guest in your party up to eight people.

Friday's special is $20 for two hours of bowling including shoe rental and an appetizer from the 300 Grill Menu.

Saturday at 300 is bowling with prizes and a live DJ at 8:30 p.m.

Sundays has unlimited bowling for $10 on the main concourse and $15 on the Back 9.

Also at 300 Bowl is "Happy Hour" each weekday from 5-7 p.m. with domestic drafts and drink specials.

Is your company looking for a novel way to treat your employees? Plan your lunch hour at 300's "Lunch and Bowl," available every weekday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. $14.99 per person includes one game of bowling, shoe rental, choice of an item from their menu and a soft drink.
