Give thanks and remember the service and sacrifice of our soldiers this Veteran's Day.

There are a handful of ways you can honor our veterans this Veteran's Day:

1- Attend the free lecture "Our Veterans: Brave and Noble" honoring Huntington's Civil War Veterans at the Huntington Public Library located at 338 Main Street in Huntington.  This lecture will be presented at 2 p.m. by Robert Farrell, author of Our Veterans Brave and Noble."

2- Visit Veterans' Plaza on the front lawn of Huntington's Town Hall on Main Street in Huntington Village. There are 700 awe-inspiring flags on display as part of the Kiwanis Club's Field of Honor and four monuments to honor the service of our local veterans. An honor wall proudly displays the names of the men and woman who served.
