Aug. 8: Public Hearing on Melville Fed-Ex Building

1. The Town Planning Board will hold a public hearing tonight, concerning a request to tear down the current Fed-Ex Building, and replace it with a six-story office building with two restaurants and a drive-thru bank. The meeting starts at 7 p.m at , 100 Main St., Huntington, NY

3. Head down to the Dix Hills library today for a FREE movie: "War Horse." Rated PG-13, "War Horse" is about young Albert who enlists to serve in World War I after his beloved horse is sold to the cavalry.
