Aug. 9: Drop in Art for Ages 3 & Older

1. Kids ages 3 and older can enjoy arts and crafts at the today, starting at 10 a.m. Dress accordingly for messy materials. No registration is required.

Speaking of volunteers, good samaritans are needed for a breast cancer hotline. Hotline volunteers provide emotional support, information and referral services to callers with breast health concerns. The next five-session training cycle will be starting at the end of September 2012 at the Adelphi University School of Social Work in Garden City. For more information about the training and to schedule an appointment for an interview, call Caroline Mulcahy at 516- 877-4315.
