Construction Noise Riles Up Melville

One woman called it a "nightmare," and claims she even has cracks in her plaster from the constant vibration of the roadwork.

What's that racket? Seems folks in Melville have had it with construction noise stemming from a years-long construction project at the Northern State Parkway and Route 110 intersection.

According the the Times of Huntington, construction-weary residents are hoping the end-of-year deadline for the project to finish is hit, at the risk of their own sanity.
