Forum to Explore Cardiac Emergencies

This article was written by Pam Robinson.

Huntington Hospital, the Town of Huntington and two foundations are sponsoring a forum Thursday on sudden cardiac arrest.

Scheduled for Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Town Hall, the forum will feature medical experts on sudden cardiac arrest, establishing an emergency response program for organizations and residents who have survived arrest because of CPR or use of an automated external defibrillator (AED).

The Louis J. Acompora Memorial Foundation and the Dominic A. Murray 21 Memorial Foundation are helping sponsor the program.

Hands-on procedures will also be demonstrated.
