Jan. 10: Coaches Vs. Cancer

Here are five things to know about today in Half Hollow Hills.

1. Tonight is the ninth annual basketball event at Half Hollow Hills High School West. The boys junior varsity team will play at 4 p.m. and the boys varsity team will hit the court at 6 p.m against Deer Park. All money raised will go to the American Cancer Society.

2. Congratulations to who scored his 1,000th point in the victory over Comsewogue on Friday.

3. Kudos to Half Hollow Hills  senior , who has given his word to Harvard University. The star soccer player has agreed to play for the Ivy League school in the fall.
