3. What can be done when a kid starts down the wrong path? Education blogger Maryl Ain discusses Suffolk County's TASTE program this week. The program focuses on youngsters 12-15 years old, who have pleaded guilty to a variety of crimes including shoplifting, criminal trespass, assault, graffiti and aggravated harassment. The key, is to have teens stop and think of the long-term consequences of their actions before they act.
