June 4: Last Week of High School Classes

Here are five things to know about today in Half Hollow Hills.

1. The school year is almost over in Half Hollow Hills. Friday, June 8 is the last day of classes at High School East and West.

2. There is a Board of Education meeting tonight at the Fran Greenspan Administration Center, starting at 8 p.m.

3. Steve Israel (D-Huntington) will join the chairman of the Export-Import Bank of the United States in a forum on small-business exporting today at the Long Island Association in Melville, 9 a.m.

4. For the first time, girls are now able to participate in the Hills West Basketball Clinic, an intense series of drills and practice sessions held at the high school each summer. 5. The in Dix Hills is now accepting applications for a photography and exhibition to be held August 4 through September 2. Submissions are due Monday, June 18. Click here to print an application.
