March 6: Community Safety Meeting

1. Recent burglaries in the Half Hollow Hills areas have sparked residents to conduct a community safety forum, taking place at  Auditorium at 7 p.m. Suffolk County Legis. Steve Stern will join Suffolk County Police Officer John Chiquitucto, the community liaison for the Second Precinct in hosting the forum.

2. It was September 1974 when John Lennon surprised radio personality Dennis Elsas with his appearance at WNEW- FM (102.7) in New York City. That interview is one of the rare looks into some of rock ‘n’ roll’s greatest icons captured in the upcoming show,  playing at the  on Sunday, March 11 at 2 p.m.

3. Milwaukee Bucks rookie and Hills West alumnus Tobias Harris returned from arm injury last week and

4. There is a Drivers' Ed parent assembly at Hills East tonight from 6:30-9:30 p.m. for parents of children enrolled in the course.

5. The Half Hollow Hills Board of Education is a step closer to finalizing the school district's budget for the 2012-13 school year. We'll have more details later today.
