May 7: Town Regains 'Tree City USA' Designation

Here are five things to know about today in Half Hollow Hills.

1. The Town of Huntington is looking for members of the group as well as Huntington combat veterans who received support packages from the group, as the Town gets set to commemorate the group’s creation 40 years ago of the first Vietnam memorial in the United States.

2. A hearing of the Half Hollow Hills School District's 2012-13 planned budget will be held today at West Hollow Middle School, 8 p.m.

3. The Town of Huntington regained its Arbor Day Foundation after a year long effort and celebrated by planting four trees at the Town's Breezy Park.

4. Enjoy a FREE jazz concert for audiences of all ages at the starting at 5 p.m.
