Nov. 29: Holiday Fair

Here are five things to know about today in Half Hollow Hills.

1. The Candlewood Middle School PTA is hosting a with numerous vendors and raffles from 6-9 p.m. at the middle school. Shop for clothes, jewelry, hand bags, baby items, sports memorabilia, chocolates and more.

2. It's at the  starting at 7:30 p.m. Mothers of children with special needs are invited down to catch a breather while exchanging ideas, sharing feelings and discovering available resources in the company of those who understand. 

3. The number of Long Island schools on the State's "in need of improvement list" has more than tripled from last year. Now is one of them, and much of it has to do with No Child Left Behind: http://aol.it/sNGkYd

4. The is tentatively over, which means Hills West alumni Tobias Harris will be on the courts with the Milwaukee Bucks soon. Good luck in your first NBA season Tobias!
