Petrone Declares Snow Emergency

Supervisor Frank P. Petrone declared a snow emergency at noon Tuesday. Town Hall will close at 3 p.m. and  not open until 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.

The town provided the following information:

All activities at Town facilities are cancelled for Tuesday. Check the Town website for status updates on Wednesday programs.

All refuse collection is canceled for Wednesday. Evening curbside pickup for commercial businesses in Huntington Village and Huntington Station is canceled for Tuesday.

HART Bus paratransit is canceled for Wednesday. Regular service is operating on snow routes. 

If your power is out, call PSEG Long Island at 800-490-0075. If you need to report an emergency or downed tree blocking a road, call the Town Public Safety Department at 631-271-2157, 631-271-6573 or 631-351-3234.
