Question of the Day: Fame or Fortune?

We ask, you answer.

It seems easier than ever to become a celebrity today. YouTube has turned unknown people like Justin Bieber and Rebecca Black into household names, Twitter accounts like "Sh*t my Dad Says" have become TV sitcoms and popular blogs have turned into books and inspired movie scripts.

The social networking era has encourgaed us to have a billion Facebook friends and Twitter followers (even if don't actually know half of them).

The interesting thing about today's fame though is that it doesn't necessarily come with fortune. Having a video on YouTube doesn't make a person any profit, no matter how many hits it gets. So is fame more important than fortune?
