Tuesday, Feb. 22 (Dix Hills) 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m. "" allows kids 1 through 5 years old to get messy and have fun with shaving cream, finger paints, sand and water play!

2. Island Rock Winter Recess Camp
Where/When: 60 Skyline Drive, Plainview; Monday, Feb. 21-Friday, Feb. 25, 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
Why Go?: Join Island Rock indoor rock climbing for a week of climbing and climbing-related activities including rappelling, ascending ropes (using mechanical devices and friction knots), mock leading on the lead climbing wall, slack lining, Tyrolean traverses, yoga, and lots of climbing. Youth climbers of all ages and ability levels are welcome.
Pricing: $225 for the week.
3. Bouncing Fun
Where/When: BounceU, 101 Carolyn Blvd, Farmingdale; Feb. 19-Feb. 25
Why Go?: Special bounce sessions have been added for the winter recess including "90 Minute Open Bounce" on Sat. Feb. 19 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m., as well as "Preschool Playdate" on Sat. Feb. 20 10-11:30 a.m. "Family Bounce Night" on Wed. Feb. 23 from 5-7 p.m., "Open Bounce" on Thurs. Feb. 24 4:15-6 p.m. and "Preschool Playdate" Fri. 4. Ice Skating
Where/When: The Feb 19-Feb 27; Tanger Outlets at the Arches Outdoor Ice Rink, Deer Park, Feb. 21-Feb. 25.

Tanger Outlets Ice Rink is offering half-price skating sessions and free skate rentals to students showing area student IDs, as well as games, contests, raffles and prizes. Click on this link for session times and pricing.
Pricing: Dix Hills: $5-$12 admission, $4 skate rental; Tanger: $7-$10 admission, $3-$4 skate rental.
5. ArKIDtects, a Lego-Based Building Program
Where/When: Just Fabulous "ArKIDtects," 1947 Jericho Tpke, East Northport; Wednesday, Feb. 23 and Thursday, Feb. 24, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
Why Go?: This is a drop-off program where kids that love to build can create Lego projects, play games, dance and have fun. Geared to kids pre-K through 5th grade.
