Skate Swap at Dix Hills Rink
Trade in hockey or figure skates that no longer fit for a pair that do during this free skating session.
Have a pair of ice skates that feel a bit too snug this hockey season? Head down to the Town of Huntington's Skate Swap event at the on Saturday to trade them in.
From 4-6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22, residents can drop off their gently used ice skates, pads, helmets, jerseys and enjoy light refreshments while mingling with other youth skaters.
Participnts will recieve a voucher for a free skating session after making an equipment donation.

Councilwoman Susand Berland and the Huntington Youth Council organized the event which is in its second year.
