"Stay and Play" at the Melville Library

Children ages 1-3 go to the library and play with other community members.

"" for 1 to 3 year olds and their caregiver, happens every Friday morning from 10 to 11 am at the Melville branch of the

It is a great opportunity for new parents, or parents new to the community, to interact with other families who have young children. Of course "seasoned" parents are welcome as well.

There is open play and then a brief circle time to close the program.

During circle time, children can participate, or play some more.

"Stay and Play" is their time to play as they wish, and the library has an abundance of interesting toys  and books to keep them entertained for a long time.
