Saturday, May 5

Happy Cinco de Mayo! Enjoy chips, salsa stories and more during this  at the Dix Hills branch of the Half Hollow Hills Community Library. Register at the library or call 631-421-4530. Grades K-5.

In the mood for a joy ride? Kawasaki Motors presents "Good Time Street Demo Days" at the Tanger Outlets at the Arches in Deer Park on May 5-6. Riders of all levels can experience the pure fun of riding a motorcycle can. Sign-up to ride starts at 8 a.m. and rides go from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. First come, first served.  Event takes place at the East Grand Avenue entrance parking lot. Visit www.Kawasaki.com to sign-up. 

Enjoy songs performed by the talented students of the  at the , starting at 7:30 p.m., under the direction of Arnie Gruber with his band. Ballroom dancing will precede this show, setting the mood for a lively and entertaining evening of cabaret favorites. Tickets are $10.

Driftwood Day Camp in Melville will be a hosting a  this Sunday in honor of 14-year-old camper Spencer Reis, of Plainview, who lost his battle with cancer last month. Monetary donations can be made at www.dkmsamericas.org/donate. Select code SRD 001.

The is taking place in the Town of Huntington on Sunday.
