Today, Dix Hills Patch has changed its name and will now be known as Half Hollow Hills Patch, allowing us to better reflect the many communities that are touched by the school district.
The name change provides Half Hollow Hills Patch the opportunity to expand the boundaries of its coverage area beyond Dix Hills to include Melville and parts of Wheatley Heights, Farmingdale and Deer Park that are located within the school district’s borders.
What remains is the same high-level of news coverage Patch has provided the community since launching in August 2010. Each day we will continue to cover local schools, residents, government and business.
