Halloween and Annual Fall Festival at Hicks Nursery

Hicks Nurseries in Westbury is offering fun activities for families and children, from now through Saturday, October 31.

There are tractor drawn hayrides and roasted corn on the weekends, real live farm animals to visit, their famous homemade fudge, candied and fudge apples, fresh-baked pies, New York state apples and thousands of pumpkins.

The immensely popular Otto the Ghost, appearing in person and in the free animated story "Otto's Not-So-Scary Night," in which the little ghost learns to overcome his fears. Each year, as part of show activities, Hicks Nurseries asks visitors to bring a non-perishable food item. All the food collected will be donated to Long Island Cares to benefit hungry people on Long Island.
