The long-standing tradition returns and will take place at the Art League's spacious facility in Dix Hills.
The Holiday Fine Art & Craft Fair offers discerning collectors the opportunity to accessorize their homes and those lucky to be on their holiday list with original paintings, sculpture, art lamps, woodcraft, ceramics, mosaics, fiber art, or photography. For those with a great sense of fashion flair, accessorize with personal items such as wearable art, jewelry, and tie-dyed fashions. Prizes will be awarded to participating artists and craftspeople with the most innovative designs.
The fair will take place December 4 and 5, from 10am – 5pm in the Art League's spacious galleries and studios giving visitors the rare opportunity, to see in the course of one afternoon, the entire array of art studios that are situated around the galleries. View an actual pottery demonstration in the ceramics studio, and a see a blank canvas become a work of art in the painter's studio. To further round out the shopping experience, hungry shoppers can purchase food and refreshments on the Art League's grounds. Admission to the fair is free.
