Musical Performance: “THE BAND” Tribute with THE BANDITS
When Bob Dylan broke out into electric rock and roll music, they were referred to as Bob Dylan and “The Band.” In 1966 when Bob Dylan’s motorcycle accident prevented him from performing, his back up band started touring independently, playing their own music. They called themselves The Band. The Band toured until 1976, when they put on The Last Waltz concert at the Winterland Theatre in San Francisco. What followed made Rock ’n’ Roll History, as Martin Scorsese filmed “The Last Waltz,” now a classic movie. The Bandits will entertain you as they perform a historical concert, taking you back to a magical era that many of you were a vital part of. Relive and enjoy that time with us. Get your tickets early. This is a first on Long Island, and will be a sell-out show!
