Say Something Important, the critically acclaimed dramatic comedy by Five Towns College Playright-in-residence, John Blenn, comes to The Dix Hills Perfoming Arts Center, Friday and Saturday 10/1 and 10/2 at 7:30pm and Sunday 10/3 at 2pm.
Say Something Important tells the story of a terminally ill character actor who decided to return home to the East Coast to reconcile with a family he left behind in the search for fame and fortune years earlier. This complex slice-of-life serio-comedy is long on the usual laughs that Blenn, with 58 staged plays to his credit, has become known for, but longer than most of his work on the depth of message, "We're not here that long and might as well make the best of it."
