HHH School Budget Passes Easily

Voters sign off on $228.25 million 2013/14 budget.

The Half Hollow Hills school budget was approved by a wide margin Tuesday. 

The budget proposal of $228.25 million for the 2013/14 school year, which includes a 2.97 percent increase in the school tax levy and a 2.86 year over year spending increase, was approved with 68 percent of the vote (1,522 to 714). 

David Kaston and Eric Geringswald ran unopposed and were re-elected to another term on the school board.
