Local Lawyer Featured in Newsweek Showcase

Lastest issue names firm in it's elder care and estate planning showcase.

Attorney Brian Andrew Tully, Esq. of the elder law firm of Tully & Winkelman, P.C. is featured in the June 18 issue of Newsweek’s “Nationwide Leading Elder Care & Estate Planning Attorneys Showcase.”

The piece features top law firms that specialize in particular areas including elder care and estate planning.

A member of the Suffolk County and New York State Bar Associations, Tully is certified as an elder law attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation and focuses his law practice on life care planning, elder law, estate planning, Medicaid benefits and asset protection. In 2010, he received accreditation from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to represent and assist veterans and their spouses in the preparation, presentation and prosecution of claims for benefits, including the Aide and Attendance Pension.

In 2004, he founded the ElderCare Resource Center, Inc. The mission of the center is to be a community resource for support, answers and expertise in regard to advance planning and informed decision making about present and future long-term healthcare. It features more than 200 print publications and a 1,600-link website created to help Long Island’s caregivers.

The Suffolk Nassau Regional Business Partnership voted the ElderCare Resource Center as Educational Business of the Year in 2005. Tully was also named to the list of SuperLawyers in the New York Metro area concentrating in elder law, estate planning and probate for 2011.
