Network and Nosh at Melville's Newest Restaurant

Last Chance: Join the Melville Chamber of Commerce for After Hours at Jewel.

We've seen hundreds of events come and go in the community, but how often does one pass you by that you wish you hadn't missed out on? That's where we come in. Each week Half Hollow Hills Patch will post a quick reminder about the events, activities or important tasks whose deadlines have come.

Restaurant founder Tom Schaudel is at it again. The proprietor of Mattituck's a Mano, Southold's A Lure, and Syosset's Cool Fish, has been one of Long Island’s most attention-getting restaurateurs, and now Route 110 in Melville is home to his latest creation, .

Jewel, much like its name, sparkles in its decor and its farm-to-table style food is a hit with locals.
