Police Seek Help To ID Suspects In Various Incidents

Crime Stoppers rewards offered for information in crimes against retailers across the region.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate individuals suspected in various crimes across the region.

Fourth precinct police are seeking two individuals they said stole merchandise from the Ulta store at 78 Veterans Memorial Highway in Commack.

On Monday, November 5, at approximately 8:30 p.m., police said an unknown man and an unknown woman entered Ulta and removed 14 bottles of assorted fragrances worth approximately $800 from a display shelf and left the store without paying.

Police describe the suspects as a black male and a black female in their mid 30s to mid 40s. They were seen driving out of the parking lot in a green 1996 Toyota Camry.

Crime Stoppers is also seeking the public’s help to find two unknown male subjects who used counterfeit currency to pay for merchandise at Walmart in Centereach.

Police said On August 12, two black males entered the Walmart store located at 161 Centereach Mall, Centereach and purchased an iPad. When paying for the merchandise, the suspects handed the sales clerk six $100 bills. The sales clerk later discovered that the money was counterfeit and reported it to the police.

Police are also looking to locate an unknown male who stole a vacuum cleaner from Target at 98 Veterans Memorial Highway in Commack.

On Wednesday, November 21, at approximately 7 p.m., police said an unknown white male entered Target and took a Dyson 24 Vacuum from a display shelf and left the store without paying. The vacuum is worth approximately $400.

Police said the suspect appeared to be in his late 30s to early 40s and was wearing blue jeans and a gray hooded sweatshirt.

Two men are also wanted for allegedly stealing merchandise from a Bay Shore department store.

Police said the men stole shirts and cologne from Kohl’s, located on Sunrise Highway on September 3.

Police describe the first suspect as a white male with a heavy build, who was wearing a white hat. He has black hair and a black goatee. The second suspect is described as a white male with a medium build, who was wearing a white sleeveless t-shirt. He has short brown hair. The two men fled towards Saxon Avenue in an unknown vehicle.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about any of these incidents is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
