I would have to say The Shamrock in Halesite, good food, good service. You always see friends and neighbors, great place.

Huntington Village Tavern is always a good time.

While I love The Shamrock, I have to give it to Finleys. Indoor - outdoor bars, great atmosphere and great food.

Where can you find the best bar/pub in Huntington, Dix Hills and Northport?
Lin June 22, 2012 at 01:44 AM
Sapsuckers in Huntington

So many, so little time.
Regis C. June 22, 2012 at 12:22 PM
Sapsuckers has the best selection in town, undeniably. But also would add Christopher's, Canterbury's and Finnegan's.
Kathie Egan June 22, 2012 at 01:24 PM

How come you are missing a great Bar/Pub. How about Nicky's in Centerport?
Jason Molinet July 25, 2012 at 08:27 PM
Alas, we don't cover Greenlawn or Centerport.
FYI July 25, 2012 at 08:43 PM
Maybe it would be better to include Greenlawn and Centerport and remove Dix Hills. Where is Dix Hills anyway?
Lin July 26, 2012 at 01:34 AM
changing times did not make the list???
Lin July 26, 2012 at 01:36 AM
Four foods studio is in Melville...why is it included???
Scamp July 26, 2012 at 02:02 AM
You don't cover Greenlawn but you cover John Glen sports all the time. I believe Elwood's school district is East Northport and Greenlawn
Scamp July 26, 2012 at 02:03 AM
that's EAST Northport "Let us know the best bar/pub in Huntington, Dix Hills and Northport." yet the lark is on the list
Lin July 26, 2012 at 02:46 AM
Jason and "Patch Staff", To be equitable shouldn't you remove those that do not fall within the pre-described boundaries? Perhaps reflection is necessary regarding which towns make sense to include and exclude in future Patch "polls". Northport/East Northport Greenlawn/Centerport The above are connected and are in a local proximity. I was under the impression that you are all local reporters reporting on local items of interest and/or concern.

Love Sapsuckers, has a great selection of beers on tap and the food pairs perfectly with the various beers. Usually find me there at least once a week,
Jason Molinet July 26, 2012 at 03:22 AM
We cover East Northport. Changing Times wasn't nominated.
