At the Dix Hills-favorite Spuntino, the owners have made a big change to their well-known pizzeria over the past few months: renovations that include a bar, extra seating and a party room.
For about five months, they were working on expanding the restaurant, and they stayed open throughout it all.
According to Lomanto, they were getting a lot of questions about accommodating large parties, which prompted them to expand.
With the new space, the owners plan to do promotional events such as wine-tasting, and in the beginning of February, they will host a Huntington Town Council fundraiser.
