Family Financial Literacy Fair Set For Saturday
Event to be held at Half Hollow Hills Community Library in Dix Hills.
The Family Financial Literacy Fair will be held Saturday at the Half Hollow Hills Community Library in Dix Hills.
Designed to teach youngsters Kindergarten through grade five to learn about saving money, the seminar will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and be led by tax attorney Karen Tenenbaum. Children will receive a free digital bank while supplies last.
In addition, “Walter the Vault” will make a special appearance. Walter is an animated character who promotes financial literacy to children, focusing on how to save reasonably, spend responsibly, invest wisely, give appropriately and budget regularly.
