HHH Library Budget Vote Tuesday

Proposed budget of $7.27 million represents a .68 percent increase.

The Half Hollow Hills Community Library budget vote is on Tuesday. 

The proposed budget for the 2013/14 fiscal year is $7.27 million, a .68 percent increase from the current budget of $7.23 million. 

Polls are open from 9:30 a.m.- 9 p.m. at the Dix Hills branch of the library.

Library trustee Larry Bloomstein is running unopposed for another term on the board. 

"The HHH Library is welcoming and serves as a nucleus of our dynamic and diverse community," Bloomstein said in a statement on the library's website. "I look forward to having the opportunity to continue working with the library staff, administration and board to ensure the Library continues to innovate while remaining responsive to the community's needs."
