HHH Family on ABC's "Extreme Makeover"

Petruzzellis head up upstate to hammer in a new home for family friend on hit ABC show.

Tune in to ABC's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" on Sunday to see the Petruzzelli family sport hard hats and hammers as they help build a new home for a friend with dwarfism.

Karen and Michael Petruzzelli, whose son Jake is of short stature, traveled upstate over the summer to help Jake's friend, Hailey Korpai and her family renovate their house on the hit ABC show.

Also helping with the makeover was the Roloff family of the TLC show, "Little People, Big World."

“Hopefully the show will educate more people about Dwarfism. Helping to build a new house for our friends, to help make their lives easier, was a great experience for my entire family and a very important day for Little People of America,” Karen said.

Michael, is the president of the Long Island Chapter of Little People of America, Inc., a non-profit organization,which works to bring solutions and awareness to issues faced by individuals of short stature and their families. October is also National Dwarfism Awareness month.
