A North Babylon man was killed Monday night in East Patchogue when the motorcycle he was riding was hit by another vehicle, Suffolk County Police said.

For Jessica Cianciotto and her father, Dennis Rosenblatt, construction on the home of their new performing arts venue is a dream come true. Patchogue
A North Bellport man was shot and wounded after leaving  in Patchogue early last Saturday morning, reports Suffolk County Police. Police say Frank Muhammad, 24, left the bar and was in the rear parking when he was shot by an unknown person in the left upper leg at around 3 a.m.

Babylon Village
An equipment failure on a pole on Little East Neck Road south of Montauk Highway caused over 200 customers to lose power Tuesday evening in Babylon Village.

West Islip
An accident on the Robert Moses Causeway in West Islip on the afternoon of June 8 caused traffic to jam up along Montauk Highway, while the northbound entrances to the parkway were temporarily shut down. Anthony Oliveri sustained serious injuries in the crash and was transported by helicopter to Stony Brook University Medical Center, police said.

Sayville-Bayport
Sayville-Bayport may soon become known as a frozen dessert mecca of the south shore as Yogurt Crazy is planning to open in Sayville. Berry Fresh, a frozen yogurt operation which recently opened in Bayport, is also aiming to open in a Sayville storefront - the location that formerly housed Country Rotisserie in the Stop and Shop shopping center.
