Update From The Half Hollow Hills Library
Library branches open but weekend events canceled.
With Half Hollow Hills school district residents continuing to recover from Hurricane Sandy, the Half Hollow Hills Community Library is offering a place for folks to gather.
There is no Internet service available but residents may visit to recharge personal electronics and spend time reading periodicals.
In addition, Saturday’s book sale is canceled and Sunday’s performance of Carmen at the Dix Hills branch is also canceled and will be rescheduled.
