How Your Family Can Become "Financially Literate"

Financial programs for all ages at the library.

The Half Hollow Hills Community Library, 55 Vanderbilt Parkway, Dix Hills, has received a $5000 grant from Capital One Bank through their Financial Literacy Challenge. The grant is to provide programs and materials for financial education to support the theme of Investing for Good and to encourage best practice in money management for children, teens and adults.  The Library is one of 25 Long Island not-for-profit organizations awarded the grant through a competitive process.  In the coming months, the Library will be offering programs for all ages at the Dix Hills building.
