Learn to make Bright, Colorful Pottery
Learn the ancient art of RAKU with a modern twist. Students will learn the secrets of creating color and crackle on their work. Special effects such as horse hair and “naked Raku” will be introduced. Whether a beginner or advanced potter, this is a great opportunity to try something new. Demonstrations will take place every class, hand building and wheel work.Firing & clay included in tuition: $305.00.
Class meets at the Art League of Long Island Fridays, 10am to 1pm May 23 through June 27, except for May 30 and June 6.
Firing date: Sun 7/20 - all day. Firing is For Registered Raku Students Only.
