"The American Dream!"

 “The American Dream!”

It’s not always money will buy you fame and fortune! But that was the idea for the great American dream anyways…

An empire dynasty in the 1860 Eberhard Anheuser an immigrant from Germany later became America’s commercialized beer favorite icon. With support from the St. Louis community in Missouri for bringing in jobs and union Teamsters, Adolphus Busch was the engine of their fortune.

Budweiser started manufacturing Budweiser and needed a plan to make their product run nationally!  So, Anheuser and Busch invested into railroads for future investments of the company expansion in 1876. The Anheuser-Busch company was on a role making their first 1 million barrels securing the competition of beer sales and getting Missouri to behold to their business for jobs and unions…

By 1917, Anheuser-Busch was building submarine engines for America in World War I. Yes, the American dream was looking good for the German Immigrants here in St. Louis. Now, with Anheuser-Busch in the pockets of the U.S. Government!

The Prohibition, which ended the legal manufacture of alcoholic refreshments in 1920’s and 30’s. Anheuser-Busch limping along for about 13 years? Gussie Busch remains the enduring persona of the great beer empire, He bought the St. Louis Cardinals. So, the fifty’s and the sixths were looking pretty good for Budweiser!

By the 1970’s Anheuser-Busch had made friends and is recognized as a co-founder of the Teamsters.

Anheuser-Busch started making phenomenal commercials, talent which they continued up into the 1980’s. Busch III, copied and bettered Miller’s emphasis on sports sponsorships and went for the soul of the American beer drinker with the slogan, "For all you do, this Bud’s for you."

In 1993, the company made its first investment in Grupo Modelo in Mexico, makers of Corona and the company Anheuser-Busch considered trying to buy to stave off InBev. In 1995, it bought majority interest in Wuhan brewery in China. Now the company is becoming this “global monster,” losing sight of their own root values. Busch IV, carefully market-tested his reputation.  With new commercial money Busch IV brought to the family empire from 1995 to 2000’s, Busch IV replaced his father, Busch III, as chief executive in 2006.

A man named Verdon accused Busch IV of stealing his commercial ideas submitted to the Anheuser-Busch Promotion department in Missouri. August Busch IV ran the commercials which gave him stardom and deposited the profited funds in the Anheuser-Busch’s Corporate Banks. Those funds that Busch put into company were enough to replace Busch III. They did just that…

This brought tension between Busch III and Busch IV? Now a couple years into the CEO chair of Busch IV.  Busch III decided his son isn’t honestly up for job? That Busch IV has taken and fraudulent leap of faith getting funds off Verdon ideas to securing CEO leadership of the great Anheuser-Busch Company.

This is where the company is about to take a turn for the worst!  Busch III blindsides Busch IV in a quick sell to InBev after Busch IV gives a speech at a Teamsters brewery saying” You won’t be sold on my watch” not to worry Teamster! Little did they know, they were about to be betrayed!

En Closing: The final touch of this America tail is, August Busch IV past.  He was in a car crash and killed a young lady in the 80’s in Tucson he even fled the scene, and with this still shadowing his past. 6months after he get basseted by Busch III, America would yet realize a future woman with a kid will also be killed this time at Busch IV mansion somewhere in the swamps of Missouri.

The family of Ms. Martin filed a wrongful death suit but Busch IV wouldn’t give more than a million and a half to the son and family who lost a daughter and mother. Seems rather sad and cheap a multi- Billionaire, could only give a million for Martin’s contribution to the Anheuser-Busch -airs.  She was only trying to give Busch IV (love) and died doing it…

Now on the other hand she did better than Verdon, his ideas contributed billions and he got spiteful letters from Busch’s attorneys denying any wrong-doing to Verdon’s commercials ideas. Its Verdon’s belief that Busch IV had Costco “fire Verdon at his job and the Teamsters give Verdon a farce representation at a hearing,” making sure he was let go from his job and the Teamsters wrecked his retirement too. The stress that Verdon’s family went through in this ordeal left Verdon and his wife a child with Autism. Thanks Mr. Busch for the Legacy!

After all said and done.  America’s Icon now in foreign hands for the first time in centuries. With a left out EX- CEO Busch IV, who is, in his mansion armed with guns and arsenal, and suffering with paranoia alone in a dark hallway…!

And that’s Anheuser-Busch’s climax to; “The American Dream….!”

Sincerely,

Eddie Verdon
