Alleged iPhone Thief Caught on Camera
Police are asking the public's help in identifying the suspect.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Second Precinct officers are asking the public's help to identify a man, who was seen taking an iPhone from Radio Shack in the Elwood Shopping Center on the store's surveillance camera.
According to police, the man entered Radio Shack, located at 1960 Jericho Tpke., and stole an Apple iPhone that was charging on the counter Nov. 13. The man fled the store in an unknown direction at approximately 5:40 p.m.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
