Crash Closes Pinelawn Road
A serious accident led police to shut down the roadway Tuesday morning.
At least one person was injured and hospitalized in a serious car accident Tuesday that forced the closure of Pinelawn Road in Melville, police told Newsday.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Pinelawn Road and Route 110 at about 8:50 a.m., the report said.
Pinelawn Road is currently closed between Route 110 and the north service road of the Long Island Expressway. Suffolk police said the road will be reopened after officers complete their investigation. It is not clear how long it will take.
