Crime Log: BF Throws Chair at Ex's New Beau

A look at recent criminal incidents in Half Hollow Hills.

Incidents

  • On Dec. 3, an incident of harassment was reported at Rainer Street in Melville, in which a male threw a chair at his ex girlfriend’s new boyfriend.

  • On Dec. 4, an incident of harassment was reported at Half Hollow Road in Melville, in which a patient assaulted an employee.

  • On Dec. 13, an incident of burglary was reported at Shoreham Drive East in Dix Hills.

  • On Dec. 13, an incident of harassment was reported at West Farm Drive in Dix Hills, in which a scuffle broke out between the 911 caller’s brother and uncle over drugs.

  • On Dec. 9, an incident of harassment was reported at West Farm Drive in Dix Hills, in which a mother called 911 to report that her 25-year-old son had an unknown weapon in his possession.

  • On Dec. 9, an incident of harassment was reported at Deer Park Avenue in Dix Hills in which two parents were fighting over a child.

  • On Dec. 7, an incident of criminal mischief to a vehicle window was reported to Euclid Avenue in Dix Hills.

  • On Dec. 12, an incident of aggravated harassment was reported on Court North Drive in Melville, in which a threatening message was left on the 911 caller’s phone.

  • On Dec. 9, an incident of grand larceny was reported at Oxford Avenue in Melville, in which items were taken from two cars.

  • On Dec. 3, an incident of criminal mischief was reported at Blueberry Court in Melville, in which there was vandalism to the 911 caller’s deck furniture.

  • On Dec. 6, an incident of criminal mischief was reported at Baylis Road in Melville, in which a vehicle was damaged.
