Crime Log: Client Gets Aggressive at Law Firm

A look at recent criminal incidents in Half Hollow Hills.

The following information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. 

  • A burglary was reported on Seaman Neck Road in Dix Hills on June 7.
  • An incident of criminal mischief was reported on Wolf Hill Road in Dix Hills on June 8. Police noted the incident involved vandalism at Hills West High School. 
  • An incident of grand larceny was reported on Sorrel Court in Dix Hills on June 9. Police noted a backpack with a laptop and iPad were stolen from a vehicle. 
  • An incident of grand larceny was reported on Millet Street in Dix Hills on June 2. Police noted an ATV was stolen from a shed. 
  • An incident of harassment was reported on Villanova Lane in Dix Hills on June 5. Police noted that a husband hit his wife and children could be heard screaming. 
  • An incident of grand larceny, in which items were stolen from a vehicle, was reported on Oakfield Avenue in Dix Hills on June 3. 
  • An incident of harassment was reported on McCulloch Drive in Dix Hills on June 4. 
  • An incident of harassment was reported on Walt Whitman Road in Melville on June 6. Police noted an "aggressive client" refused to leave a law firm.
