Crime Log: Narcotic Drugs and Loaded Firearm

A look at recent arrests and criminal incidents in Half Hollow Hills.

The following information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Arrests

  • On Oct. 23, Ravi Sharma of Dix Hills was arrested in Huntington Station on a charge of selling tobacco to a minor.

  • On Oct. 20, Brain Rice of Dix Hills was arrested on a charge of criminal injection of a narcotic drug. 

  • On Oct. 17, Jose Perez of Central Islip was arrested in Dix Hills on charges of grand larceny in the third degree and burglary.

  • On Oct. 15, Wilton III Widman of Dix Hills was arrested on charges of unauthorized use of a vehicle without owner consent and leaving the scene of property damage.

  • On Oct. 14, Michael Chiella of Melville was arrested in Dix Hills on a charge of DWI with a prior conviction within the past 10 years.

  • On Oct. 14, Jeb Cohen of Melville was arrested in Huntington Station on a charges of intent to sell narcotic drugs and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

  • On Oct. 11, Michael Hall of Melville was arrested in Huntington Station on a charges of grand larceny and burglary.

  • On Oct. 17, Jennifer Boreland of Deer Park was arrested in Melville on a charge of criminal possession of a weapon for carrying a loaded firearm.

  • On Oct. 16, Raney Wood of Midland was arrested in Melville on a charge of resisting arrest.

  • On Oct. 13, Rashad Walker of Amityville was arrested in Melville on a charge of criminal sale of a narcotic drug.
  • Incidents:

    • An incident of grand larceny occurred on Oct. 23 at Shoreham Drive West in Dix Hills. Police noted that a 1994 green Ford Pilot was taken.

    • An incident of harassment occurred on Oct. 23 at East Dosoris Lane in Dix Hills in which a 911 caller told police that his brother pushed him and began throwing things at him.

  • An incident of burglary occurred on Oct. 23 at Randolf Drive in Dix Hills. Police noted there was an attempted break in.

  • An incident of aggravated harassment occurred on Oct. 23 at Candlewood Path in Dix Hills. The 911 caller said his ex-wife and her boyfriend kept calling and threatening him.

  • An incident of burglary occurred on Oct. 21 at Lauren Ave. in Dix Hills. The complainant said it was unknown yet what was missing.
