Crime Report: Car Stolen, Prostitution Arrests

Recent police activity in the Dix Hills/Melville area.

Incidents

  • An incident of criminal mischief to a fence was reported on Winthrop Drive in Dix Hills at 12:50 a.m. on June 13.

  • An incident of aggravated harassment was reported on Herrick Avenue in Dix Hills at 3:30 p.m. on June 13. 

  • An incident of a harassment was reported on Candlewood Path in Dix Hills at 10:30 a.m. on June 15.

  • An incident of aggravated harassment was reported on Caledonia Road in Dix Hills at 1 p.m. on June 15. 

  • An incident of aggravated harassment was reported on Arlington Street in Melville at 5:30 p.m. on June 16.

  • An incident of grand larceny, in which a 1997 Nissan was stolen, was reported on Lamb Place in Dix Hills at 7 p.m. on June 16.

  • An incident of harassment was reported on Broadhollow Road in Melville at 4:15 p.m. on June 17. 

  • An incident of harassment was reported on Half Hollow Road in Melville at 4:25 p.m. on June 17.

  • Arrests

    • Vincent Repka, of Port Jefferon, was arrested in Dix Hills on June 16 on a charge of second degree criminal contempt. 

    • Lisa Broughton, of Portsmouth, was arrested in Dix Hills on June 17 on a charge of aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle. 

    • Franklyn Francisco, of Bay Shore, was arrested in Melville on June 13 on a charge of petit larceny. 

  • Jasmine Morrobel, of the Bronx, was arrested in Melville on June 15 on a charge of prostitution. 

  • Violet Smith, of Antioch, was arrested in Melville on June 15 on a charge of prostitution.
