Dix Hills Man Drowns in Pool

A Dix Hills man drowned in his backyard pool Monday night, authorities said.

Suffolk County Police responded to 7 Ibsen Court in Dix Hills after a 911 caller reported finding a man at the bottom of the deep end of the home’s inground pool.

Byungyun Lee, 67, a resident of the home, was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
