Crash on Deer Park Road Injures One

Driver lost control of vehicle and slammed into a tree and utility pole.

A crash on Deer Park Road in Dix Hills Sunday afternoon sent one person to the hospital. 

The driver of a Mercury sedan lost control while headed south and slammed into a tree and utility pole. 

The driver was transported to Huntington Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
